Friday December 27 9:30am HMT trail head at Flood wall in Matewan, WV

“Tug River”

Ride will include HMT and local trails along the scenic Tug Fork river.

Ride fee is $80 per machine

HMT permits required

🔥🔥 🔥Queen of Country 3 day ride🔥🔥🔥

March 21-23 2025

Now’s your chance to ride all the way from the Southern trails in WV all the way to Butcher Holler!!

Ride will leave the former Eva’s House Bed and Breakfast at 9am Friday morning. From Gary, WV we will ride to Matewan, WV staying both Friday and Saturday nights at Back Woods Rentals.

Saturday morning after breakfast at Wingo’s in Matewan we will ride to Loretta Lynn’s home place in Van Lear (Butcher Holler) Kentucky. This will be an all day ride—-140 miles round trip Saturday alone

Sunday morning we will depart Matewan at 8am and will return to Gary by 1pm

Ride fee for this 3 day ride is $250 per machine

Lodging at Backwoods Rentals is $50 per person per night to be paid upon arrive to Backwoods Rentals

Please contact Sandy Blankenship at 304-922-6894 for Thursday night lodging. A donation of $50 per person is requested for Thursday night.

Yesterday I had the privilege of taking this father son trio from Iowa on our “Queen of Country Tour”

I really enjoyed riding with these guys and it’s always great to see family riding together!!!
