Today is the perfect day to pay our respects to the ancestors of the land we are fortunate to call our home and remember that we are here together and no matter our differences we should be loving and helpful with one another.

Remember that we do not own this land; nobody does. We're not here to own it, we are here to protect it, just like the natives.

Once in a while it is good to think of our less fortunate neighbours and offer at least our time and energy to help them. The Lucky Duck Foundation is holding volunteering events every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, to deliver food and water to unsheltered neighbourhoods. You can help load the boxes that need to be transported.

If you are a yoga practitioner or would like to try it out, there is a novel event happening tomorrow, May 2nd, here in Encinitas, a chicken therapy yoga group.
It takes place in a front yard which is adjacent to a chicken run. The events’ hosts have found that listening to and being near the birds can be therapeutic and relaxing so they wanted to extend that to the neighborhood.
The group will include:
50 mins of relaxing and restorative yoga open to practitioners of all levels
15 mins of sound healing and meditation
Space to discuss and practice other forms of women’s health and wellness needs
Housemade garden picnic and refreshments
The event is free or donation-based.

Why CardiffVacations.com is your next destination? First of all, Cardiff by the Sea is a desirable place to live, work, eat, shop and play. It has some of the most beautiful weather in the world. Cardiff is known as a world class surfing destination. Some of the surfing spots include Cardiff Beach, Pipes and Swamis to name a few. Located just south of the City of Encinitas and just north of the Cities of Del Mar and Solana Beach. Growing up in North County during the 70’s I got to live in this magical place called Cardiff. It has seen changes as things evolved. I grew up in these homes with my parents and when they passed I wanted to create a legacy to them. They loved Cardiff and all that it brought to their lives. My husband and I worked to create a vacation experience for all to enjoy as a lasting memory to my parents. We put a labor of love into this project and tried to keep comfort, peace and beauty in mind when creating these incredible places for all to enjoy and see what I got to see when growing up. We hope you all fall in love with our Cardiff by the Sea and love what we have created for you.
