I am SO glad I didn’t miss this opportunity for my client! 👇

Last year, a client booked a trip to Hawaii and came to me with a very clear budget in mind.

I always honor my clients‘ budgets of course, but based on their list of things they wanted I knew they would enjoy the oceanview suite over the gardenview, I mean, who wouldn’t?!

The problem? It was technically out of budget.

Out of budget within the week they originally wanted, that is.

I knew my clients had a bit of a flexible timeline for their trip and a simple tweak to the week they booked meant that we could shave a bunch of money off the cost and get them that ocean view at just a little over their budget.

I’m SO glad I have great relationships and can take suggestions to my clients, and that they trust me to do what‘s in the best interest of their all too valuable vacation time.

Spoiler alert: they had NO regrets about the little extra they spent for the view and I’m so happy we could make it all work.

Blizzard Beach is BACK—and better than ever!

❄️ Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has reopened, and it’s had some magical upgrades! 🏖️✨ If you’ve been thinking about using that free water park day perk 🆓 on your check-in day instead of hitting the resort pool, what’s new might tip the scales in the water park’s favor, especially if you’re traveling with little “Frozen” fans! 👧❄️

🌊 The Tykes Peak kid-friendly splash area now features “Frozen”-themed touches with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. ⛄ Just think of the photos! 📸 Plus, they’ve added some new sweet and savory menu items that may give the sand pail ice cream sundae a run for its money. 🍨

🚀 Fifty years ago, Space Mountain launched guests into the cosmos for the very first time, and it’s still one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World. ✨ (Check out that pic of the first ride vehicle from the Disneyland attraction! 🛸)

Despite all the shiny new additions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, this classic continues to draw crowds and long wait times. It’s had a couple of refreshes over the years, but nothing monumental.

So here’s the big question:
Does Space Mountain need a change?

🤔 Should it get a major refurb to bring it up to today’s standards?
❓ Is it time to retire this beloved classic and make way for something brand new?
💫 Or do we leave it exactly as it is—a nostalgic staple of Tomorrowland?
