Today we observe Yom HaZikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day to remember fallen soldiers and victims of terror. Many of our students are joining Jewish communities across the country to honor and celebrate Israeli family and friends who are no longer with us. We know that this Yom HaZikaron is particularly challenging, in the wake of the devastation of October 7. Our hearts are with our Israeli and Jewish communities around the world, and especially in Israel. 🇮🇱🕯️

Trinity Hillel is aware of the encampment established yesterday evening on the Main Quad. These protests are part of a pattern that is emerging on campuses around the country - some of which have led to threats and harassment toward Jewish students.
Trinity Hillel is committed to the safety and well-being of every Jewish student and to working with our university administration to ensure that our campus remains a thriving environment for all. No student should feel as though they must hide their full identity to experience our campus environment, nor should their basic safety ever be jeopardized.
