Allowing guests to get a lighting lane for every ride that is part of the Lightning Lane system, secured before you get to the park.

Disneyland starts October 25th

Walt Disney World starts October 30th for Deluxe Hotel guests only.

Pricing has not been released yet and there will only be a limited amount of passes given out, first come first served.

MAGICAL MONDAYS!

From late August thru December Magic Kingdom offers a great way to beat the crowds. Multiple times a week they have either Halloween or Christmas parties. On these days the park closes at least 3 hours early.

Many people choose not to go on these days because they don't want to miss out on those hours and they don't want to miss the fireworks. Which leads to very low crowd levels.

We were able to get on almost every ride in Magic Kingdom without a Lightning Lane last week because of this.

This tip works especially well if you have multiple days planned to go to Magic Kingdom or you have a park hopper.

MAGICAL MONDAY!

Walt Disney World is constantly having special offers, especially for their resorts. However they only alot so many rooms for the special offer prices, so it is important to book those rates as soon as they come out.

MAGICAL MONDAY!

Staying at a resort which has the Skyliner is a great plan for getting to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. However be aware if you have a double stroller, you will need to pick up both sleeping children and fold that stroller up to get on the Skyliner. The Double Strollers are too wide to fit on.

LIGHTNING LANE MULTIPASS UPDATE!!

Can you hold more than 3 Lighting Lanes at once? YES!!

Today we learned that if the attraction goes down during your return time, they will give you a pass to use on most other rides and allow you to book another.

We currently hold 5 lighting Lanes as two of our attractions went down.

LIGHTNING LANE MULTIPASS UPDATE!!

8am on the 3rd day of the new system. Everyone going to the parks has had the ability to reserve Lighning Lanes since Wednesday. I did not purchase today, but just took a look for Magic Kingdom to see what would be left for day of purchases an hour in and unfortunately Tiana's Bayou and Haunted Mansion were sold out already. Everything else was available though. The system is new which may not have everyone on board which could make it more difficult in the future. But so far not too bad.

Disney's Pop Century Resort is where we are at this weekend. It's a value resort with some really nice features. Themed to decades from the 50's to the 90's it' located opposite Art of Animation and is in a nice location to get to all of Disney. The room.is comfortable and big enough for a family of 4. The shower has a rain head and hand held head which is fantastic.

Best reason to stay here is the Skyliner. Quick trips to Hollywood Studios and Epcot without having to utilize busses.

LIGHTNING LANE MULTIPASS UPDATE!!

We have been in Hollywood Studios since about 1pm and ate lunch when we got here, so we have not had a full day, but we have still gotten plenty of good use of the new system. So far we have used it on Star Tours, Slinky Dog Dash, Smugglers Run, Toy Story Mania and we are about to go on Mickeys Runaway Train. I also have one for Towere of Terror and Aliens Saucers later tonight.

It's been working very well. Still requires a lot of in park use, to play with times and adjust things as your day goes. Time slots seem to open up frequently when I booked Tower of Terror an hour ago it gave me 8:45. But if I wanted to change it now I could switch it to 6:30 and it's just after 6. So times do come and go.

Overall a good start especially since it's only day 2. I haven't seen too many glitches.

LIGHTNING LANE MULTIPASS UPDATE!!

Just arrived in Walt Disney World to experience the all new Lightning Lane Multipass. I made my picks for Hollywood Studios yesterday and had three selections for this afternoon. I switched one of them this morning to an early time. I didn't get to the park on time so I cancelled it and made a new selection. I can still only pick from the same tier until I use it. I also can't pick from another park until I use one in Hollywood Studios. Heading to the park soon, I'll keep you updated.

Lightning Lane Multi-Pass process was very simple this morning. Below you can see some screen shots. I was in right when it opened at 7am. I made my 3 selections for Hollywood Studios for Thursday and I had 5 minutes to complete my purchase.

The first attempt at 7am gave me my 3 choices 1 hour apart starting at 9:05. These times didn't work for me, I attempted to modify the times and it told me no other times were available. I timed out and started over around 7:05 my new selections gave me times starting at 3pm. These times worked much better for me and I made the purchase.

I'm hoping the not being able to modify initially was just some opening day issues. I'll be playing with it more throughout the weekend.

GREAT TIP THOUGH!!! My wife was trying the same time but for Saturday at Magic Kingdom and she was able to book there, so we could both be booking different days for the same people at the same time.

I'm heading down tomorrow to stay at Pop Century stay tuned for more updates.
