Escape to Wildwood River Retreat on 3 acres on the banks of the Toccoa River. Walk onto the River Deck where the sounds of the river and the brisk mountain air welcome you to the serene setting of the North Georgia Mountains. The open concept Living, Dining, and Kitchen boast new granite countertops, a fu
ll suite of stainless appliances, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV with Dish TV, and large glass doors that open to the River Deck. These areas are perfect to gather after a day of adventure or settle in comfortably on the deck overlooking the Toccoa River. Beautiful home offering 2 Master Bedrooms with queen beds and river views. The Master Bath on the Main Floor has a large soaker tub and generously-sized tile shower. The loft bath has a large shower and the lower level contains a half bath to use as you enter and exit the lower deck hot tub. White water rafting/kayaking, hiking, waterfalls, zip lines, biking, and fishing are practically out the front door! Or stay close to home and wade into the waters just outside the back doors. Nearby wilderness areas provide plenty of year-round outdoor recreation or meander the streets of nearby McCaysville and Blue Ridge, Georgia or Copperhill, Tennessee where you’ll find one of a kind shops, breweries, and eateries. Ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad or step back in time and watch a first run movie at the famous Swan Drive-In Theater. Of course, Mercier Orchards is a must for local apples, peaches, honey and more. And Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino is only thirty minutes away. There is always a festival or event happening here in the mountains!
We're on the Toccoa River until tomorrow. We've had some great weather but April will be here in a week and Spring will be blooming! Right now I have a bunch of daffodils we planted last September blooming next to the deck stairs!
