Mark your calendars for a once in a lifetime event. We will be hosting The Buckhorn Blackout! Come join us for a weekend of BBQ, live music, and a total solar eclipse!

Did you know that a total solar eclipse in our region only occurs roughly every 400 years? All the more reason to come enjoy some cold drinks, fantastic food, and great company approximately just 10 miles from the path of totality!

Starting Saturday April 6th until the main event on Monday April 8th, we will serving smoked Buckhorn barbeque brisket and pulled pork with house-made macaroni and cheese and salt potatoes. There will also be chili available as well as our full menu. Barbeque will be available starting at 1:00PM each day and will be first come first serve.

As for the live music we will be having David Scanlin & Bill Burkhard playing on Sunday April 7th 2pm - 6pm! You won't want to miss it!

We will also be supplying the first 100 guests that purchase a barbeque plate on Monday April 8th, with a pair of solar eclipse glasses. So come get your barbecue and protect your eyes!

We will also have solar eclipse glasses available for purchase so everyone can enjoy!

Old forge trails were in great shape leaving town this morning. North of Stillwater was the bees knees. The trail C8 connecting Stillwater and belfort is still closed but the roads were running nice on the detour. Ride back was great but inner trails were wiped out once getting back into old forge trail system. The band is back! Great to be back out

UPDATE: We have groomers out on 10 mile so use caution as there are 2 of them and they may not be on the trail where you think they should be.

NEW TRAIL GROOMED: we have a new way to get to Boonville and connect to Lost Trail Snowmobile Club. Runs out NORTH SOUTH rd, left onto the fire lane, right in the Commons to Fowler and Fowlerville rd. We meet Lost Trail at the Moose River Bridge.

THE THREE LAKES TRAIL(aka "the cutoff") was groomed last night!

KOVACH (C7B) IS NOW OPEN! no mud very little water and rough. Big puddles are froze.

MT TOM: IS still closed due to lack of snow and water issues.

Please ride cautiously as there are still some waterholes, possible trees down, thin snow etc. Let's preserve what we have and keep the snow on the trails.
