After all the extensions, the day is finally coming that the Real ID will be required even for domestic travel. Starting May 7, 2025! Make your DMV appointments now so you have time to get your ID before your summer trips.

You will need:
1. ID (passport, current drivers license, etc)
2. Social Security Card
3. 2 proofs of residency (utility bills etc)

See the DMV website for a detailed check list. Make sure the name on your ID and SS card match.
