It’s Bouquet Day!

Thank you to those who have supported my wife - Doreen's efforts to raise donations for World Vision's clean water and food fundraising effort. ($4.50 of every $5 bouquet goes to the initiative.) She has just picked and arranged a new collection of bouquets!

You'll find them in a small stand by our sidewalk at 8367 Burlington Dr. (in the cul-de-sac) in the Cypress Station sub division in North Ridgeville. If it's raining, we'll move the stand onto our front porch so come on up!

It’s time to brighten someone’s day with a fresh flower bouquet while supporting a worthy cause!

My wife, Doreen, is using her love for growing flowers money to support food and water initiatives through the non-profit “World Vision.”

She asks a $5 donation for a bouquet of fresh flowers with 90% going to World Vision and the rest to help offset expenses. There's a little drop box on the flower stand or scan a QR code and pay with Venmo.

They’re only available on weekends and you'll find them in a small stand by our sidewalk at 8367 Burlington Dr. (in the cul-de-sac) in the Cypress Station sub division in North Ridgeville. If it's raining or really hot, we'll move the stand onto our front porch so come on up!

We are blessed with more than we need while many people live without access to safe drinking water or enough food. This is our way of helping those less fortunate.

I took my bride of 25 years for an overnighter at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan in 2005. It was an amazing experience staying there and seeing the island! Here's a cool photo I took of the hotel that looks like a painting from a bygone era.

In this picture you can see how I cut one of the frames from eclipse glasses and attached it over my phone’s lenses so I don’t damage the sensor when photographing the sun.

Members of North Olmsted Friends Church blessed a local chapter of "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" (SHP) by helping build beds for children in our area that sleep on floors or other uncomfortable places.
