The Midlands Air Festival is delighted to welcome Oggy The Friendly Dragon to the show next year for his first ever UK appearance!
This special shape balloon is a spectacular addition to our line up. Standing just under 150 feet tall, it takes 175,000 cubic feet of hot air to inflate him and that’s a lot of puff! Jack Semler is his pilot and his lovely wife, Lynn, will be joining him to answer questions from our younger members of the audience.
The show takes place at the historic Ragley Hall Estate near Alcester on the 30th, 31st May and 1st of June. Tickets for next years show are already on sale and this unique aviation event features one of the largest hot air balloon festivals in Europe combined with a 6 hour international air display on each day! Truly excellent value for money and a wonderful family day out. Children under 13 are currently free and tickets will never be cheaper than now.
We also have a premium campsite inside the showground and our legendary NIGHTFIRE show opens the Festival on the Friday evening.
