He also feels strongly that introducing kids to fishing and the outdoors is a worthwhile investment as it provides an opportunity to instill sportsmanship, conservation, and a love for the natural world. Schirra has also spent the majority of his adult life in the sports fishing and hunting industry. The time spent there has given him firsthand knowledge of what a fisherman and outdoorsman expects and he makes sure to accomplish and meet those expectations on each and every charter.
