I’m not gonna lie, I was terrified at the start of this via ferrata excursion today (scaling a mountain utilizing a system of steel cables). Apparently we were supposed to go to an easier course, but recent snowfall prevented that plan. This was really tough, but we did it and I’m feeling accomplished. The views weren’t too bad either. I hope to plan experiences and moments for you on your next trip that leave you feeling excited, proud, in awe, grateful (any of the above)! ♥️

Traveling to the Dolomites in Italy has always been a dream of mine and I’m excited to have been invited by the Dolomite Mountains Team to explore the region over the next few days. This area can be reached from Venice in 2 - 3 hours and is an amazing destination for both your summer and winter travels. Many of the hotel properties are ski-in and ski-out, there are countless trails for hiking and biking, spas with indoor pools and outdoor hot tubs, and so many cool activities we can plan for you! Just back from sailing Alaska with a group of friends and family! We hiked, biked, snorkeled, whale watched (saw orcas!), ate king crab, visited charming Alaska ports, went to a lumberjack show, saw lots of wildlife, sunsets, a glacier and so much more! Amazing lifetime memories made! ♥️

Welcome to Charm & Awe Travel Co. My name is Amy Grishman and I've had a love for travel since studying abroad in college. During that time I spent five months traveling to as many places as my wallet would allow (Spain, France, England, Italy, Portugal, and more!) Fast forward thirteen years and I'm now married to my best friend (we tied the knot in Jamaica!) and I've had two boys (both of whom got their first passport stamps before the age of one).

Through my own travels and travel planning for others, I've cultivated a passion for experiences that are charming, authentic and soul-filling. Combine this desire with a high attention to detail and I promise you a unique experience that is anything but cookie cutter.
