We had a deck party to set sail, met Captain Mickey, had a delicious spread at Animator’s Palette and are watching the Tangled show tonight. Afterward, we’re planning on hitting some Disney trivia. Think we’ll win? 🏅

At the risk of sounding as old as I feel 😅, “They just don’t make movies like they used to.” I miss the simplicity and cheese of my beloved 80s movies 🎞️. Luckily for us, Universal Orlando Resort now makes parades...like they used to. Grab the leg warmers, pull your hair into a side ponytail, and let’s go grab a front row spot to the all-new Mega Movie Parade. There will be some new faces that your kiddos will be excited to see 😍, but the real target of this nostalgic, fun parade is the old school skating rink crowd 🛼. Jaws, E.T., Back to the Future, Jurassic Park—they are all here to make us feel like a kid again! Which float feels like the biggest shout-out to you in particular?

So let’s say the WHOLE FAMILY wants to book a trip ✈️. It can be brutal trying to find a destination or style of trip that pleases everyone 😅. Theme parks might be too much for grandparents 🎢, and the beach isn’t everyone’s idea of fun 🏖️, but you know what’s a crowd pleaser for every age? Disney Cruise Line! 🚢 Here’s why your whole family will love it:

There’s something for everyone 🎉: Family pools , kids clubs, adult-only dining, family-friendly nighttime shows , crafts, movies, character meet and greets - EVERYONE will have their share of fun onboard!

It feels all-inclusive 🌟: You could walk aboard with your room, food, gratuities, and excursions paid for. (🍸 Alcoholic and specialty drinks are an additional charge).

You don’t have to constantly repack 🧳, yet you will wake up in a new port daily 🌅. It’s an amazing way to see a lot, but have all the traveling done for you while you sleep 😴!

Disneyland is the perfect mix of old park nostalgia while still keeping up with current trends and new characters and stories to tell 📚✨. It’s nice to see Mr. Toad still hanging on, even if his ride isn’t exactly that “wild” by today’s standards 😅. Do you like the idea of keeping many of the old school attractions in place at the parks 🏰, or do you feel like we should be ever-evolving and bringing in new attractions? 🚀

I don't know about your family, but it never fails that we get into the room after eating all day and one of the kids goes "I'm hungry!" 😳🙄 Thankfully, if you are on a Disney Cruise Line vacation, food is just a phone call away. I have ordered their infamous buffalo wings at midnight before, ran up to the pool deck for a soda refill and gotten back just in time for them to be knocking on my stateroom door.

It's included! There is a full menu of completely free items for room service and you can pre-order your breakfast the night before to be delivered the next morning. Seriously, ya'll, you can't beat this!

🐕‍🦺 Huge tip for those traveling with service pups that have a pool day planned! Plan on staying a resort with cabanas or patios by the pool so your furry friend has a place to relax. They aren’t allowed in the pool, so this gives them a great spot to chill out. Plus most of them come stocked with drinks and snacks. 🍹Among the resorts with these offerings are the Polynesian Resort, Beach/Yacht Club and the Grand Floridian. These are an extra charge but are well worth every penny! They can book quickly, so don’t wait. I can help get these booked for you as well!

🌟⚔️👩‍🚀 Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios is so completely immersive that it is actually easy to get turned around in the land and not easily find your way around and out. This can sometimes make finding something to eat before your Rebels get hangry a challenge. Ronto Roasters is a quick and easy spot with a simple but tasty menu and with its location right in the marketplace area it is impossible to miss. (Thankfully.) Anyone tried their wraps? What did you think about this out of this world eatery? 🤔
