The Pelican Roost in the beautiful Florida Keys Come fall in love with the Florida Keys and our Ocean Front home, “Pelican Roost”. The area features some of the best diving and fishing in the world.

Enjoy the laid back life style under the palms with an ocean breeze, or the excitement of the big catch, or diving on the only coral reef sanctuary in North America. The home is off Tavernier Creek which allows you boating access to the Ocean and Florida Bay. This prime location is approximately 1 hour from the Miami International Airport and 2 hours from Key West. We are 30 minutes by car or boat

to John Pennekamp National Marine Sanctuary (http://www.floridastateparks.org/pennekamp). Nearby is Islamorada, known as the Sportsfishing Capital of the World (http://www.islamoradachamber.com). The house is convenient to great restaurants and shopping. When entering our second floor Ocean front home you are immediately struck with the awesome ocean view. The entire back of the house features sliding glass doors that bring the outside in. The open floor plan is great for cooking, dining, and socializing. The kitchen features a breakfast bar, the dining room features a large table that seats ten, and the Living area features a Tommy Bahamas relaxed style with cable TV. There are tile floors throughout, except for the three bedrooms, which are carpeted. Each bedroom has a king size bed, large dresser and closet. The 2-bedroom wing has a Jack and Jill lavatory with a shared shower. A full bathroom is located next to the 3rd bedroom. There is a large covered upper deck that extends across the back of the house to enjoy the view and outside living. It features a large patio table, gas grill, and a tropical wicker living area. The lower level features abundant covered patio area. The house has a very private backyard with an amazing view of the Atlanta Ocean. A small private beach is perfect for building sandcastles or catching hermit crabs. Enjoy an afternoon nap or book in the hammock shaded by coconut palms with the ocean breeze. The property has a large dock just steps from the house. It is a perfect place for a quiet cup of coffee or cocktail with friends. The dock overlooks Tavernier Creek ocean channel and boat watching is at its best. There is also a fish cleaning station, shower and water for cleaning your boat. A boat up to 24 feet can be accommodated with some restrictions. Come enjoy some of the best ocean or Florida Bay fishing, snorkeling, and diving just minutes from the house. Minimum rental is one month. Seasonal Rental preferred. December thru April.
