Join us for the 2024 Gilbert 4th of July Celebration at Gilbert Regional Park presented by Earnhardt Auto Centers and Haydon! 🇺🇸

🎉 Gates open at 4:00 PM with aerial entertainment and fireworks beginning at 9:00 PM, weather permitting.

🎶 Music entertainment is provided by Chad Freeman and Redline, Dirt Road: The Jason Aldean Experience and Keith as Kenny.

📍 This free, family-friendly event will take place on Thursday, July 4th at Gilbert Regional Park, 3005 E. Queen Creek Road.

Barrio Bread opens at Hayden Flour Mills in Gilbert

Snag a loaf of bread from James Beard Award-winning baker, Don Guerra! 🥖 Don Guerra is venturing into the Phoenix market by opening a satellite bakery right here in Gilbert. This new location is open one day a week, offering customers the opportunity to indulge in Barrio Bread. The satellite bakery is located at Hayden Flour Mills' new facility in Gilbert. Every Tuesday, customers will have the chance to order and pick up their favorite loaves of Barrio Bread. Downtown Gilbert Barbershop 💈

The Downtown Gilbert Barber Shop opened its doors in 1947 and is the longest consistently running business in the Heritage District. 💈 For generations, it’s been a gathering spot for Gilbert residents of all ages to come together, share their stories, and get their hair done. Jose “Joe” Gonzales took over the shop in 1951 when he was in his early 20s. At the time, Gilbert had less than 2,000 residents. Joe was a husband, father and proud World War II veteran. He rarely missed a day of work until the age of 80. Joe passed away in March 2013 at the age of 85. Today, his children, Raul Gonzales and Amelia Pace, run the business. Together, they are keeping their father’s dream and legacy alive. The Downtown Gilbert Barbershop welcomes clients daily. Many members of the Gilbert community have been customers, including police chiefs, educators and well-known families like the Neelys and Morrisons. #HispanicHeritageMonth

Discover Gilbert

Seeking out adventure in and around metro Phoenix leads to so many wonderful places. Somewhat new to that list is Gilbert, a community with agricultural roots that show-up in the local food scene and in uniquely handcrafted creations. Gilbert boasts a family-friendly vibe and an emerging nightlife, all of which has been created in alignment with the local love of great food, craft beer, Arizona wine, handmade goods, bike trails, open space, and our four-legged friends.

How new is new? Well, Gilbert’s downtown, dubbed the Heritage District, has added 26 restaurants in the last 5 years!

Incorporated in 1920, Gilbert grew up around the Arizona Eastern Railway and quickly became known as the “Hay Shipping Capital of the World.” More recently, Gilbert has received nods like, “Phoenix’s Coolest Suburb,” and a “top 5 foodie neighborhood in metro Phoenix,” known now for the people food more than the alfalfa. Gilbert is also consistently recognized as one of the safest cities and best places to live in the U.S.

Gilbert has become a livable city and a foodie hub with agriculture woven into the fabric, never truer than with the Farm at Agritopia. Here, community farming is combined with u-pick orchards, a farmers market, and produce that ends up on the menus of the restaurants within sight of where it was grown. Not to mention two Food Network featured restaurants, a craftsman marketplace, and a winery and brewery onsite.
