Legend has it that on a surprise visit to Saronno in the Lombardy region of Italy, a Milanese bishop stumbled into a young couple's abode. Welcomed with fresh amaretti, he was so pleased with the taste that he blessed the couple with a happy and lifelong marriage. Legend or no legend, Amaretti pack a serious punch.
