Our Story
We opened our doors on June 1st 2005 and ran a successful store front business located at 118 N Main St Souderton Pa called Consign for Design until we closed on June 22th 2019, Going forward all of our business will be conducted over the internet and at antique shows. If you are interested in anything we post on this page simply contact me and I can arrange delivery to your location.
For those who have been following US for the past 14 years, know that we are always evolving our business to achieve the best possible shopping experience for our Customer. We changed our DBA Name to Home Treasures from Consign for Design because we no longer offered open consignment. Consignment did not allow any control over merchandise we carried in the store. With consignment we must rely on the assortment that is brought to us by consignors. In most cases what consignors no longer wants the customer does not either. Searching out and selecting the merchandise ourselves is the only way we can offer the best items to our customer.
The main component of our success was centered around our curated clean showroom style that allows the shopper to envision the decorator pieces within their own home, we search for the more masculine side of antiquing and the more contemporary, clean look style often missed when sifting through the many items of typical antique or thrift shop. I lookws high quality new & pre-owned merchandise and offer it at the best possible price. Everything I sold met six important criteria points. Condition, Price, Authenticity, Style, Uniqueness, and Desirability.
I am a true “American Picker” I keep up with Fashion, Decorator, and Home Good trends to bring you the most desired and up to date items. I buy and resell Antiques of all type, Collectables, Art Glass , Studio & American Art Pottery, Modern Mid Century, Military Items, Knives, walking canes, vintage Lamps, Wall Art, Railroad items, Antique tin toys, Clocks, antique Cast iron Cookware, Vintage Kitchen, and unique decorator and gift objects from around the world.
