The Oasis Culture: What We’re All About!
If you’ve ever met our founder Sheila Brooks before, you would know one thing right off the bat: she LOVES cruises! One of Sheila and her husband Daniel’s favorite enjoyments together is taking cruises, (and figuring out where they want to go next in the process!)
In the early days of booking cruises for herself, Sheila started to notice a trend in the bigger travel companies that she didn’t care for too much. They would book her for a set number of days, and that was the end of it. No making sure she got there with no issues, no checking her in, no extra excursion planning---you get the idea.
What those big national travel agencies were missing was a personalized human connection between client and agent. Booking and profit came first, customer service and satisfaction were merely secondary.
Sheila saw that it could be done a different way. She wanted others to have it better as well. She genuinely found joy in giving others the best worry-free planning experiences possible.
