🍣 From Tokyo to Hakone, we truly *ate* our way across Japan! Every bite was an adventure—sushi that melted in our mouths, steaming bowls of ramen that warmed our souls, delicate kaiseki courses, and sizzling wagyu that redefined flavor.
We embraced it all: omakase feasts, udon slurping, and even an unforgettable meal shared with elegant geishas. The food markets became our playground, with every stall holding a new surprise. Each day brought another unforgettable taste of Japan.

✨ **Gion District** – Wandering the ancient streets of Gion, where geishas gracefully walk by and tea houses whisper stories from centuries past, is like stepping back in time. The charm and elegance here are unmatched, a must for anyone seeking the heart of traditional Japan.
⛩ **Fushimi Inari Shrine** – Walking through the thousands of red torii gates at Fushimi Inari is surreal. Each step felt like moving deeper into a world of wonder. The dedication here to ancient gods is humbling and awe-inspiring—a true highlight of Kyoto.
🎋 **Arashiyama Bamboo Forest** – There’s nothing quite like standing among towering bamboo stalks, feeling like you’re in another realm. This forest is peaceful, beautiful, and surreal, reminding you just how magical nature can be.

Yesterday, we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in the most unforgettable way—a private geisha experience in a stunning 300-year-old traditional Japanese home. Stepping into this historic space felt like traveling back in time. We shared stories with the geisha, watched beautiful performances of traditional music and dance, and even got in on a fun game with them! It was an incredible way to mark this milestone, blending culture, history, and joy.
Truly an amazing experience we’ll treasure forever! "

New day- New adventure!!
Hopped on the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka in the super comfy Green Car seats—total game changer! Couldn’t leave the station without grabbing a bento box (or two), and wow, the choices were insane.
Sushi? Check. Tempura? Check.
Zoomed into Osaka and made a beeline for Osaka Castle—moats, massive walls, and enough samurai vibes to feel like a warrior myself. Then hit up Dotonbori District, which was neon lights, street food galore, and giant signs of crabs, octopuses, and other sea creatures that look straight out of a carnival!
Ended the day with a kaiseki dinner that was basically a work of art. Japan knows how to make a meal and a journey unforgettable!
