LONDON! A wonderful city full of history, great dining and beautiful spaces. I’ve spent time there the past two summers and have wonderful tips and recommendations to share. This is a great place to spend or start a vacation with direct flights from RDU and Charlotte. You can head to The Cotswolds, Scotland, Paris and Brussels by Train or you can hop on a flight and be in Greece or Italy in now time!

Travel Advisor TRUE OR FALSE:
Travel advisors send clients only to hotels or resorts that offer a kickback, so you can’t trust that they are providing options that are in your best interest.
This is a statement I’ve heard a few times with conversations regarding travel advisors as a whole, so I’ll be happy to clarify what I provide for my clients.

⭐️My clients best interest is always my #1 priority. I listen to their travel requests and use my knowledge and expertise to provide a quote that I think fits them best. Yes, most travel partners worldwide (hotels, resorts, cruises, etc) offer travel advisors a minimal commission. Most of the time it is built into the consumer price already. Sometimes I even book places that do not offer commission such as National Park lodging. I do that because I have personally stayed and experienced it and it’s the best option for the clients itinerary.
Yes, I do implement travel design fees for certain destinations and that is to compensate for the time spent curating custom travel itineraries and for places that do not provide commission such as National Parks. Curating a travel itinerary is a well thought out process and so important to the travel experience.
I always provide travel design fee pricing prior to quoting.

My clients travel experience is my top priority and therefore, all clients are quoted a hotel, resort, cruise, etc because that is the best fit for them based on my knowledge and expertise. For some destinations such as Europe, I may not be the cheapest option, but rather the trusted and well curated option. I want to make sure my clients are well taken care of when traveling abroad!

I offer all new clients a phone consultation and am always happy to discuss my services, the benefits and how to make your next travel experience positive. A Professional Travel Advisor can be your best asset when planning a vacation!

Beautiful, Moody Scotland. She is a majestic city with grit and glory, spirit and s***k, light vs dark. Her layers upon layers of streets, closes and hills will leave you in awe of the architecture. History buffs and surgeons will enjoy the endless stories. Ghost stories and Harry Potter inspirations are around every corner. I’m so thankful my daughter chose this destination for her Graduation. I had a lot of interest in the Venice Orient Express so I’m happy to share that a NEW Luxury train is coming to the UK! 🇬🇧

Belmond is launching a new train in England and Wales, so travelers will have an option other than day trips on the British Pullman or overnight journeys on the Royal Scotsman!

The first journeys will take place in 2025, and will depart London Victoria for 3-night journeys to either Cornwall, the Lake District, or Wales, or 6-night journeys combining Wales with either Cornwall or the Lake District.

The train will run July 4-November 25, with a max occupancy of 36 passengers. It will have two dining cars, one bar/observation car, and a wellness suite for spa treatments.

If you would be interested this is the perfect time to let me know, I’m sure this one will sell out as departures get closer.

☕️BREAKFAST: Start with an elegant breakfast…in bed or the dining car.

🍽️LUNCH: A relaxed, lavish lunch is the surest sign of a day well spent — especially when lunch is quite this opulent. Take to your chosen dining car and unwind over three courses of freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Our sommelier will pair each with the perfect bottle.

🫖AFTERNOON: The winding mountain valleys of Austria, the epic rolling hills of Tuscany, and the glistening vineyards of Eastern France all deserve an accompaniment fitting of their splendour. Fittingly, our afternoon tea service is complete with pastries, coffee and tea.

🍸GOLDEN HOUR APERTIFS: As day fades, the golden light of sunset fills each carriage and a convivial atmosphere sweeps the train. The unmistakable chime and c***k of mixing cocktails floats from the bar car, carried from carriage-to-carriage by stewards in blue.
Negronis, martinis, spritzes, sours. All manner of spirit and fortified wine. They’re taken in dining cars and private cabins, to intimate nooks and grand suites as the sun settles beyond the horizon. Night is afoot.
Before dinner: stewards can bring coffee to your cabin should you require a brief rest afterwards.

🍽️DINNER: The centrepiece of our grand adventure has arrived. In many ways, it’s the moment we have been journeying towards. Brace yourself for Chef Jean Imbert’s extravagant table d’hôte menu that harks back to the majesty of travel’s golden age. You’ll never eat quite like it again.

🎼AFTER DARK: With the last morsel of dinner now finished, it’s time for the evening to really begin. Follow the sound of our grand piano to the bar car, where you’ll encounter our resident pianist setting the tone while classically trained barmen shake fresh cocktails. Order your favourite tipple, request your favourite song, and settle in for an evening of chance encounters with like-minded travellers… and after that, midnight brunch.

After a night of carousing, what better way to cement new friendships than a late night snack of lobster rolls, truffled club sandwiches and champagne in Bar Car '3674'? All soundtracked by live piano and the shake-shake of our barman, still mixing whatever your palate desires. It’s a truly decadent end to the night… however long it may continue.
