Meet Marina! Celebrating her 1-year anniversary as one of our amazing Charleston tour guides!

"Hi! I'm marina, I've been a guide with Ghost City Tours for a year now! I’m a college student studying photography and arts management. I thought being a ghost tour guide would be a fun job for me to have while finishing my degrees. My favorite part of being a tour guide is meeting new people and showing them Charleston in a unique, funny, and spooky way! My most memorable tour is when I told a story and the ghost from the story interacted with the group! The look on everyone’s faces was priceless and I was pretty freaked out and speechless myself. When I'm not doing ghost tours I'm taking pictures and hanging out with my friends in the city!"

Drop a 👻 to wish her a happy anniversary!

📢 Big News from Ghost City Tours

After more than 13 years of building Ghost City Tours into the largest and most successful company in haunted tourism, our founder and CEO, Timothy Nealon, has announced his decision to step down and transition the leadership of the company to the next generation.

In addition to spending more time with his family—including his new wife—Tim plans to focus on his lifelong passion for reptile conservation through his World Class Reptile Conservation Center. His dedication to saving endangered reptiles from extinction mirrors the visionary leadership he brought to Ghost City Tours. We couldn’t be more proud of his next chapter.

With this transition comes the exciting announcement of our new leadership team. Angelica Wild has been promoted to CEO, and Stephanie Ferris will step into the role of COO.

Angelica’s innovation, strategic vision, and dedication to excellence have been instrumental in shaping the success of Ghost City Tours. Stephanie’s exceptional leadership and operational expertise make her the ideal partner to guide the company into its next chapter.

Together, Angelica and Stephanie bring the experience, passion, and commitment needed to continue Ghost City’s growth and ensure its future is even brighter (and more haunted!) than ever before.

Please join us in celebrating Tim’s incredible legacy and wishing him success in his conservation efforts. Let’s also congratulate Angelica and Stephanie as they lead Ghost City Tours into this exciting new era.

Here’s to the future—for Tim, for Ghost City Tours, and for the entire haunted tourism community.

The Forsyth Park Fountain isn’t just a beautiful centerpiece of Savannah - it’s a piece of living history. Installed in 1858, it was inspired by the grand fountains of Paris, designed to bring elegance to Savannah’s largest public park. But like so much in Savannah, the beauty of Forsyth Park holds deeper, darker stories.

Over the decades, the fountain has become a silent witness to Savannah’s complex past. Its waters have seen the city evolve, from its post-colonial roots to its Civil War scars, and into its modern haunted reputation. Some say the spirits of the past linger near the fountain’s edge, tied to the eerie energy that flows through Savannah’s historic streets.

This design, ‘Dead of Night’, is a tribute not just to the fountain itself, but also to our most popular Savannah tour. The Dead of Night Tour takes you deep into the city’s haunted heart, visiting landmarks like Forsyth Park while uncovering the chilling tales that make Savannah the most haunted city in America.

So next time you find yourself standing before this iconic fountain, remember: every drop of water carries a story, and not all of them are from the living.

The Chattanooga Choo Choo isn’t just a symbol of Southern railway history—it’s a place where the past lingers in unexpected ways. Built in 1909 as a grand terminal for travelers, this historic landmark has witnessed more than its fair share of farewells, reunions… and perhaps even spirits who never caught their final train.

Late-night visitors have reported phantom footsteps echoing through empty halls, the faint whistle of a train long retired, and even shadowy figures on the platforms. Is it just the building settling into its age—or the echoes of lives left behind? 🚂

Explore the eerie beauty of this historic station and uncover the chilling stories tied to one of Chattanooga’s most iconic landmarks. Who knows? You might just encounter more than history. 👻

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist stands as a testament to resilience and architectural splendor in Charleston, SC. Originally completed in 1854 as the Cathedral of St. John and St. Finbar, it was tragically destroyed in the Great Fire of 1861. Rising from the ashes, the cornerstone for the new cathedral was laid in 1890, and the current Gothic Revival structure was completed in 1907.

By day, its brownstone façade and intricate stained glass windows captivate visitors, while at night, the cathedral exudes an ethereal presence, sparking tales of lingering spirits and Charleston’s storied past.

Join us as we delve into the rich history and haunting legends of Charleston’s most iconic landmarks. Are you ready to uncover the secrets of the Holy City? 👻
