Arbor Day 2024
Happy #ArborDay! 🌲✨ Trees are natural superheroes, cleaning our air, supporting wildlife, and fighting climate change. Last year, we joined forces with the Arbor Day Foundation for the reforestation of areas affected by the Bootleg Fire in Oregon, an event that devastated over 400,000 acres of land. Travel + Leisure Co. supported the planting of 124,793 trees in response to this tragedy, addressing the critical need for restoration efforts. The newly planted trees are home to bald eagles, big game, and small mammals while also helping restore water quality in the Klamath River. Michael Brown, president and CEO of $TNL on Q1 2024: “We are off to a solid start for the year with a 15 percent increase in tours, 28 percent growth in new owner tours and volume per guest above $3,000."

The Foundation was established to provide a debt-free college or technical education for students in under-served communities beginning with the Eatonville Scholarship Program. Recipients of the Travel + Leisure Eatonville Scholarship Program shared their stories and spoke with passion about the impact of attending college debt-free.
