Once upon a time there were 2 hearts living in two little girls separated by the seas and thousands of miles. One in a homeless, sweet golden girl dog named Firuze who lived in Turkey, the other in a very special little girl named Ayla who lived in the United States. Both yearned for a forever friend to love and to cherish but they knew not what fate had in store for them. Firuze, abandoned and forgotten, was ultimately rescued by KR and brought to the US where she waited patiently to find the perfect new friend she longed for. Though adoptive families were interested in Firuze, we always felt something was missing and, although kind, they were not to be her forever after. All the while, Ayla and her family had been searching for a puppy to join their family. They saw many pictures and met many dogs in search of their new friend until the day they met Firuze. When Ayla and Firuze met, inside they both heard a voice “there you are, I have been waiting for you all of my life”. To Ayla and her family, there was no other dog for them, only Firuze for, with Ayla, is exactly where Firuze was destined to be.
FRIENDS for the wag of a tail, and a bark of hello, to no other friend would I ever go.
To whisper my fears and lick away tears.
To run and to jump, and to twirl all around, there's no better friend, that I’ve ever found.
