Pearl & Horn was AMAZING.

When a restaurant is recommended to me by so many people, it has to be tried, and it did not disappoint!

This restaurant is located in Pensacola and the vibe was 🫶. Mid-century modern with a sparkly twist.

Every single thing we had (and I tasted it all!) was perfect.

Do yourself a favor and get there!

And I can't forget our favorite bar Old Hickory Whiskey Bar. Their fantastic seasonal craft cocktail menu is always something to look forward to!

Walt Disney World Offers Florida Residents Savings with a Discover Disney Ticket!!

The Discover Disney ticket offers Florida residents four days to visit Walt Disney World theme parks for $60 per day, plus tax (total price: $240, plus tax). This ticket is available to purchase beginning Jan. 7, 2025, for visits Jan. 13 through May 23, 2025, with an advance park reservation (reservations subject to availability).

There is also a 3-day Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket for $225 (plus tax) – $75 per day (plus tax).

Guests can use the ticket on non-consecutive days before it expires, so they can spread the magic out across more than just one visit. Tickets are valid for one theme park per day. To offer flexibility, guests can upgrade their ticket with the Park Hopper or Water Park & Sports Options.

Travel Tip Tuesday!

Did you know that starting tomorrow, the United Kingdom will require all non-European travelers to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) upon arrival into the country. All visitors, including children, who do not have a visa or other UK immigration status will need to present a completed ETA when entering the region, even when just transiting through the UK. Once an ETA is approved, travelers are permitted to visit the UK for up to six months and take multiple trips through the country over the course of two years (or until the traveler’s passport expires, whichever comes first).

WHAT DO TRAVELERS NEED TO APPLY FOR AN ETA?

✨Pay a fee of £10
✨Complete the online form through a downloadable phone app or web browser.

Find ‘UK ETA’ through the app store on your phone/tablet, or visit their website. Here, you will be asked to 1. provide contact and passport details, 2. provide a valid photo that complies with the digital requirements, and 3. answer a set of questions.

Have you ever thought about taking a rail vacation? Wondering what it would be like to travel and sleep on a train?

Sleeper trains are exciting, adventurous, comfortable, and practical. They can be a great way to travel long distances in record time, covering long expanses overnight as you rest up in comfort, arriving ready for action the next day. Services will vary according to country and operator, but there are a few factors you can expect across the board

🚂When you first board your sleeper train, a designated sleeper attendant will greet you, check your tickets, and look over your reservations. They’ll point you in the direction of your compartment, where you’ll be able to store your luggage and settle in. Sleeper attendants might take your passports so you aren’t bothered by checks overnight.

🚂 Depending on the time of day, you’ll find seats or beds all made up and ready to sleep in. Your attendant will convert seats to beds in the evenings. Compartments have both normal locks and security locks that can’t be opened from the outside. You’ll likely have a washbasin in your room, and toilets will be located at the end of the corridors.

🚂Sleeper trains in Europe can be hotels on rails. Trains will usually offer three classes of service, and I will be able to help you choose the accommodations that are right for you. Our European rail vacations all include sleeper accommodations, which will usually consist of a room of two (or three) bunk beds. You will normally be able to upgrade to a single compartment to have a room for yourself. Beds will be made up in the evening with linen and a pillow, and are cozy and comfortable.

🚂You will be able to store your luggage in your sleeper compartment. Slot bags under your bed or store them on the rack above the window or recess above the door.

🚂You will often be able to purchase snacks and drinks from your sleeper attendant. Many sleeper trains feature restaurant cars too, where you will be able to tuck into full meals or snacks. Of course, we would always recommend taking provisions for the length of your journey – and don’t forget a corkscrew! Breakfasts are sometimes provided in the mornings on sleeper trains.
