Slovenia is one of worlds top places for paragliding. Its terrain offers us great possibilites for long XC and also fun flights in the valley. Howie - Currently Hawaii based and born in UK.I discovered through a great friend of mine, Aire Sol, the deepest joy that is Paragliding. I learned in Australia in 2006 and have been in love with Paragliding ever since. So far paragliding has taken me to Slovenia! many times :-) Croatia, Nepal, Morocco, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, the USA - Jackson Hole, Salt lake City and Hawaii. I have a USHPA advanced and Tandem pilot rating. Along with my Paragliding skills and knowledge comes a wealth of knowledge gained through 20 years of skydivng where i have both instructor and Tandem Master ratings held with USPA. I love to share great experiences and knowledge with people which is why myself and Simon are totally excited to be offering other pilots and non pilots the opportunity to visit and fly in such an amazing place. Simon – Started flying in 2006 and since then i am totally hooked up in the paragliding world. My father has been flying hanggliders from early 80s, so sky is definately in family blood. I was born in Kobarid, as a tourist guide and outdoor sports guide since i was 18 at local sport company, i know the area very well and it is my favourite flying location by far. Through the years i have met many many pilots and most of them are coming back every year. Paragliding has become my life and i would never change it.
