Hyre Cruises & Travel Family owned travel agency, with a focuses on singles an group travel, cruises, and beach vacations. What adventure are they on ? TRAVEL.

When I was a little girl back in the 60’s my dad took me to the Pittsburgh Airport , it was free cheap entertainment for a 6 or 7 year old. There was a observation deck on the upper floor, you could go outside to look at the planes. You could see in the little windows on the airplane with passengers getting settled their seats, I remember wondering, where are they are going ? The roar of the engi

nes and smells all sucked me in. When I was a teenage a hot Friday night date with my high school sweetie consisted of a getting a pizza the parking on this road that was at the end of a runways we would lay in the field as the planes came in with wheels down for a laying , We thought for sure if we stood up we could touch the plane. It was that amazing feeling again the sounds and smells of the experience filled my veins with the sense of wonder, I wanted to be on one of those planes going somewhere anywhere to explore the world of the unknown.I wanted to see it all . After high school I went to travel school then took my first job in the travel industry, I stayed in the travel industry for 15 years , but as we all know life gets in the way, I got married to someone that didn’t share my passion for travel. Had a few kids even though I still traveled I wasn’t getting my full fix. I wanted to take my sons to see the world, but someone has to pay those darn household bills. Once the internet came about and then 911 , the travel industry came to a complete stop, things where never like they were. I had to move on from travel to feed my family even though I left travel , travelling stand in my heart, I never really found that passion and love that I had for travel. As I am turning the bend in my life and see the sunset down the road, I decided it is time to go back to what gave me passion , that is why when others are thinking of retirement I am thinking Let’s get going. I want to ride the wave into my later years going something I love. That is way I started a Travel Agency at 62 years old. Tick Tock time is a wasting were is the next adventure.
