We had a guest that was scheduled to arrive on Saturday September 9th. Just when the hurricane was about to hit the Davenport area. We were able to move their arrival date from Saturday to Tuesday. Since we had availability we were able to add 3 days to the end of their scheduled time. So they were still able to enjoy their full weeks vacation.

The guest was very happy and their vacation was saved.

Now that hurricane Irma has past. We were very fortunate to report that we did not have any damage. There was a lot of rain and plenty of high winds. But after the hurricane continued to move north, we had no damage to the house. The Hampton Lakes community had some downed trees, some fences were knocked down and a few housed had their screen houses damaged.

I am very happy we were spared any damage.

Hello friends and family,

As you know I have been raising money for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
I got involved when my niece Lilly (Mitch and Amanda’s daughter) became a Diabetic at 16 months old.

We have been raising money to support research to find a cure for T1D.

I am also running a fund raiser raffle again this year. There are 4 separate prizes:

1- 4 night stat at my Villa in Florida near Disney (see www.facebook.com/asummerbreezevilla for more information)
2- A pair of Giants tickets against Carolina and Cam Newton - December 20th 1 pm
3- $50 gift card to Macy’s
4- $50 gift card to chili’s

Tickets are $5 each and there is a 1 for 1 matching program so for every $5 you donate $10 will go to the cause.
All prizes have been donated so 100% of your donation will be matched and it will all go to research.

It’s a way to give and have a chance to win something at the same time.

Win or lose it will feel great to do something positive.

TO OUR FIRST RAFFLE IN 2013... WE RAISED ALMOST $5,000!!!

And the winner is.... Jon Fronda of Staten island.. Joe won the raffle we were running and a stay at a summer breeze villa in Disney area in support of JDRF type 1 diabetes.

We raised $4,670 for Juvenile diabetes and the research to find a cure. The drawing was Oct 6th. and to my niece Lilly ... we love you... Aunt Liz and uncle Vinny...
