La Cantina de San Angel is a wonderful quick service in Epcot’s Mexico pavilion. After you order look around the corner to find a lovely indoor seating area with clean private bathrooms and a pretty view. Calm and quiet inside, it’s a great spot to escape from the heat.

Benefits of staying at a Disney resort? One of my favorites is early park entry. We could have spent $150 for our party to have a LLSP for Rise of the Resistance or waited in line for 1.5 hours plus. Instead we showed up for early park entry and headed straight to Rise of the Resistance and rode within 30 minutes. Saves time and money by staying on property! And a stay at a value resort is very affordable.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park will close for an extended refurbishment on January 6, 2025. As of this time, the attraction is scheduled to reopen at some point in 2026 with “a little bit of new magic.” The last day to ride before it closes is scheduled to be January 5, 2025. There is still time to get one last ride in! Let me know if you want to plan a trip for one last ride on Big Thunder Mountain.

When cruising, a balcony cabin is worth every cent. Our family loves to sit on our balcony and rest with spectacular views away from the crowds. It’s also a bonus when pulling in and out of ports. You get amazing views and can dress for dinner at the same time. Balconies are extra desirable when it’s an Alaskan cruise. You don’t want to miss those views! Balcony cabins fill up fast so plan ahead and book your cruise early for the best cabins and the best prices.
