My dad went home to laugh with Jesus yesterday morning. I will no longer be attending this year as I will be attending my dad’s celebration of life service. Thank you all for your prayers and support through this most difficult time. I hope S’morecicles brought some joy to everyone over the last few years - just like my dad always did wherever he was. 🫶🏻

It’s been a wonderful ride! I am sad to share that I will be closing the s’morefront at the end of August. I still have a couple of events on the calendar but I won’t be taking any new bookings. Local folks, the s’morefront will be open for Gosport’s Lazy Days festival next month, but that will be the last time. Indy folks, will be my last event.

But why? S’morecicles started out as a fun side business when I was living in Nashville. It has grown to more than I ever dreamed in Indiana and I am so grateful for that. However, I have always worked full-time outside of running S’morecicles. That means most of my time outside of my full-time job is spent on running this business. Something I was okay with until very recently.

My dad has been sick for a bit and we just found out that the cancer has returned after six years. Without a doubt spending time with and taking care of him needs to be my priority during this season of life. Prayers for him are also appreciated. He’s the world’s greatest dad. His faith is strong and he always says he’s in a win-win situation because of Jesus.

Thank you all for your support of this dream over the last three years in Indy. I’ve made so many wonderful friends throughout this journey. To anyone who has ever bought a S’morecicle or laughed at the punny names, thank you from the bottom of my heart! 💜

Plainfield friends! Come out for this day of family fun! Bounce houses, food trucks, fire trucks, pizza eating contest, kids pedal tractor pull, live bands, classic car show, games and more! All money raised by CrestPoint Real Estate will be donated to the Plainfield Youth Assistance Program.
