It’s been a few days since I posted because we’ve been non stop!!! We left Lake Como on November 1st and headed to Lucerne, Switzerland on the train through the Alps. When we arrived we had lunch, checked into our hotel and joined our guide on our included city tour of Lucerne. What a beautiful town. We finished the evening with burgers and fries and a good nights sleep.

Yesterday we started with an included breakfast at our hotel. After that we took our included guided walking tour of Como. It’s so interesting to see structures built so long ago. We learned that this area floods at least twice a year. This year four times. Such an interesting area to explore.

After that we took a ride in the Funicular for an amazing view of Como, Milan and the Alps. Stunning!!!

Then we had lunch. Gluten Free Pizza and Fries. Delicious!!!

Morning update!!

The last 32 hours have been a whirlwind. Flight delays and almost missed connection made it for a stressful start to our European getaway but we packed our patience and we are where we are supposed to be, Lake Como, Italy!!! We arrived at our hotel at about 10am this morning, grabbed some lunch, took a nap and started exploring. Lake Como is beautiful and we can’t wait to spend a few more days here. We finished the day having dinner with our group and our cruise director giving some specifics as to what the next few days will entail. We are all so excited. Check back tomorrow to see what we’ve gotten into!!
