I am Lou Ann Weeks, Co-Founder of Skeew along with my husband Wallace. I have been a mosaic artist for nearly 20 years and Wallace has assisted with many of my projects. Much of my art has been large architectural installations, but certainly includes just about every size and technique you can think of. I have been priveleged to attend the classes of the world's best teachers and to be a teacher

too. As a part of the teaching I am publisher of I-C-Mosaics.com which is the how-to for mosaics. Skeew's mission is to create mosaic supplies that help you unleash your creativity. Mosaic backers have been the focus of our innovation. We also offer Tessera and tools for mosaics and are always innovating new products to help mosaic artists be the best they can be. Fiberglass mesh with an adhesive. Place your tile on the mesh, remove and reposition if you like. Then adhere your mesh and tile to its permenant backer.

Fiberglass mosaic mesh comes in one sheet to a package. It is alkali-resistant and has a slight bit of adhesive on it. You must use your weld bond or thin set along with it. Great for wall installations and for working over patterns. Step-by-step instructions here.
