Happy Birthday, IOA! A major part of the reason I wanted to become a VIP tour guide At Universal was because of Islands of adventure. I knew that there had to be some story coincide with Port of Entry. My training did not disappoint. It turns out that there is a story for literally every single building; beginning with the sails of the Chinese junk ships that had landed on the island, which are now used for the covering of the turnstiles as you walk into the park along with iconic replica of the Lighthouse of Alexandria…and it only gets more elaborate from there. Without doubt would have most beautiful entries into any park.
In honor of the 25th anniversary at Islands of adventure, Universal is running some incredible specials! if you have not been, you need to go. I would be happy to create truly magical memories for your family.

Why a Travel Agent?

I grew up in the Walt Disney World Resort Parks. Truth be told, I am the same age as the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Disney was, and is my passion. However, when my son graduated from High School, his desire was to work at Universal Orlando Resort and he asked if I would join him. How many 17 year old kids ask their moms to tag along to anything, let alone an amazing career? Having the opportunity to become a VIP tour Guide at Universal Orlando Resort was a bucket list item for me. I met people from all over the world and created life-long friends. What I had not realized was in doing so, I saw a huge need that was not filled. Starting in Guest Services, and moving to the VIP Tour Guide position, I realized that many families with special needs children were not provided the tools they needed to have a smooth and relaxing trip. Our amazing parks in the Central Florida area are replete with opportunity for all handicapable people, it is just a matter of knowing what is offered. That’s when I realized that my passion was not only showing my Guests the parks themselves, but wanting to get those tools in their hands so they could experience the best of the parks with as few obstacles as possible. Having traveled the United States and the World extensively, living in Brasil for ten years, and a year in Hong Kong, I am fully aware of how helpful it is to have someone on your side creating your magical moments. As your travel agent, I can help to take the stress out of travel and allow you to truly relax. Let’s create some memories together!
