I must have more awesome clients than some of my colleagues in the industry because I have not been yelled at ONCE by anyone. Not that I would blame them if they did yell. Times are stressful, and I try to remember that it's not personal. That being said, feel free to treat your travel advisor with kindness and take out your frustrations by punching a pillow or some bread dough instead! 😁

I’ve been given a fantastic opportunity to share the vendor space of my good friends at Gearhead for the 2019 CruiseFest event in Sacramento on Oct 5. It will be a family affair with my husband Tom playing drums for Whiskey Moonlight at the event that afternoon. I’m looking forward to talking about a different kind of “cruising“ than most attendees — ships 🚢 instead of cars 🚘 !

For this I chose the creepiest thing I’ve ever eaten ... a grasshopper. The Grand at Moon Palace has a wide variety of very good NON-INSECT food at its 10 inventive restaurants. Don’t be fooled by charming servers who swear grasshoppers with a beer chaser tastes “just like peanuts.”
