All health insurance companies must provide a minimum of 60% coverage for mental wellness benefits. The Affordable Care Act is a federal law & must be executed as it is written. This includes Medicaid, Private for Profit Insurance, Employer Sponsored Insurance & Medicare. Sadly the lack of psychiatric physicians & poor access, drive up costs. It is imperative that patients be exhaustively proactive.

Red tape and a lack of in-network providers frustrate those seeking treatment.
