A week ago I was on my way home from this paradise in Akumal, Mexico. 🌴 I have been to quite a few different all inclusive resorts, but Secrets Akumal is ,by far, one of the best. It checks all the boxes. Easy to get to with convenient flights into Cancun, incredible accommodations, fabulous food, a white-sandy beach, crystal clear water, and beautiful pools. And did I mention it’s adults-only? The perfect resort for honeymoons, anniversary celebrations, or just a much needed getaway. You truly can’t go wrong with Secrets Akumal!

Monarch Villa at Sanctuary Cap Cana, our home for the past six days. We were the first guests since Hurricane Fiona. They have clearly worked overtime to get this incredible, adults only resort back up and running. Sad to leave but hoping to come back here again one day. 🌴☀️🍹

Meet Mark and Grete! They came to me in January of 2020 looking to create a Spain and Morocco combo tour complete with a stay at an overnight desert camp and a sunset camel ride.

In March of 2020 they were set to leave the day after our borders were closed due to Covid.

Almost 3 years later, I was able to help them finally make this trip a reality. And I’m happy to report it was worth the wait! As Grete says in her own words…

“It was a fantastic trip! You did an amazing job planning it. We have never had a trip that went so smoothly, and I’ve already been telling everyone that I have a travel agent for them to use next time they plan a trip.”

I don’t know about you but I’m putting this trip on my bucket list, ASAP. 🐪 🌞
