Don’t wait to make memories!
I've had a love for travel for as long as I can remember. I even got my private pilot's license in 1994! In the years since, I have been to many places all over the world. I do have a few favorites that have become my specialties. I adore New Zealand. I have made lifelong friends there who surprised my family and I with a visit to a nearby farm that turned out to be the location for many of the scenes in The Hobbit movies. I got married in New Zealand at Stoneridge Estates on Lakes Hayes, Queenstown 15 years ago. My most thrilling experience I have ever had the privilege of doing was black water rafting in NZ! My next favorite destination is the entire United Kingdom. It is like coming home for me and my family every single time. I was in Antarctica in 1996 when I met my dear English friend, Anna which through this friendship beget many other friendships across the pond. This meeting began my lifelong love of coming back to the motherland, as it were. I can say that there are corners many have never thought of to visit like Cornwall or the Outer Hebrides. The evacuation of the inhabitants of St. Kilda haunt me to this day which is a day's exploration that is well worth the time. Seeing a play at the Minack theater in Cornwall, is quite the highlight for my children, as well as donughts outside the Shaun the Sheep workshop in Land's End. The British Virgin Islands. Where does one begin with the adventures of all those gorgeous, tight knit islands that you can have breakfast at one, lunch at the next, dinner over there and back to your original spot all in a day's time! The water is so clear and such a brilliant blue that the clouds reflect right off the water as you swim ashore for lunch or cocktails. Do reach out when you want to explore your options away from the overcrowded places. It is such a treat for me to help! Want to travel with friends and family? I can do that.
