I gotta brag on my two families (sisters) that are traveling (together) to WDW right now.... not only have they been super fun to work with, they're also extremely gracious and are kind enough to send me pics. It takes a lot of thought to match families up with the right resort, and when it's a family you don't actually know in person, it adds an extra challenge. I set this family up at Caribbean Beach, and so far.... so good. They love the resort, right on the skyliner, and it just has a fun vibe to it. I love hearing about your trips, and it makes me so happy when I get pics along the way!

Some of you have seen my fun planner that I use to keep track of my busy life... check this one out! How fun!

You can get these nifty planners and all the fun accessories at shops like Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or order them from Amazon or right from Happy Planner. I personally find that Michael's tends to have the best selection of Disney options. I've even seen some at WalMart.

Royal Caribbean is a great time! Highly recommended. However... my trip experience is the prime example of why you build in at least a day (if not two!) On either side of your trip for delays!

The Johnson/ Chaloner clan is back in MN after catching a Lyft at 2am for a rescheduled 515am flight out of Ft Lauderdale after Delta canceled our flight out of Miami.
They originally could only schedule us out TOMORROW. WHEW.
A couple days buffer + trip insurance. Crisis averted!

Ridiculous travel day where everything possible went wrong and we didn't get to bed until 530am on Saturday ✅️

Sisters anniversary party on the Calypso Breeze Dinner cruise ✅️

Travel to Miami via the Everglades, where no alligators were spotted, and thus, all 5 of us disappointed ✅️

5 NEGATIVE COVID TESTS AND ALL ARE CLEAR TO BOARD!! ✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️

Supper at Hard Rock Cafe, where we are sooooo close to the Cruise Terminal, then tomorrow morning we board the ship!

And we are off! This fam is taking off for a Royal Caribbean cruise after a brief stop in St Pete to celebrate my sister and brother In law's 10th wedding anniversary.... Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas awaits on Monday!

Blown away. Words cannot express how much I've learned this week. Universal Orlando Resort continues to impress me with their resorts and what they have to offer guests.

Let's talk about food for a minute, shall we?

Though I've had some amazing food this week, my favorite meal so far has been the butternut squash ravioli at Razzle Dazzle. This vegetarian-forward restaurant pays homage to the ships of a similar name, the Dazzle Ships of WW1 (Google it if youre not familiar- the story is really interesting! )
Everything we tried was fabulous, and they serve breakfast, brunch and dinner (fairy toast, anyone?)

They do have non-vegetarian options...on the naughty list!

What a ship!! Here are a few highlights from the brand new, Scarlet Lady cruise ship.

First, some details about my cruise.
This is a 5 night cruise, from the Port of Miami. Our ports are Cozumel and Bimini.

I'm cruising with two friends- one of which has never cruised, and one has been on one cruise, 20 years ago.

This line is very different than other lines. It has a very luxurious feel to it, without the luxury price tag.
There are no traditional buffets like you find on other cruise lines. Instead, There are about 20 restaurants on board, and they're all included in your cruise fare- that's also different from other lines.
Tips are already included.
Basic wifi is included, but it is very basic, so I paid to upgrade. I'm sure the price differs with each cruise, but mine was $50 for the entire trip and all 3 of us could use it
Basic beverages are included- soda, regular coffee, tea, juice.

This isn't your grandma's cruise line. If you want to stay up all night and party... you can.
The food is more on the adventurous side, but delicious! Richard Branson knew what he was doing when he wanted to create a cruise line that was different.

Oh...did I mention it was adults only?
I'll say thst again, for those in back.

ADULTS ONLY!
I've seen all ages on this ship. It's for the young at heart- it doesn't matter what year is on your birth certificate!

How about that gorgeous Logo on the side of the ship? (Head to deck 16 to see it up close and personal once you step on this ship ;-) ) She makes a grand entrance, indeed.

Here I am, on the all-new Virgin Voyages ship Scarlet Lady...this is their 9th sailing and it is incredible! Adults only, and this is a very different cruise line!

They sent me on a little scavenger hunt around the ship, and I'm here to show off some of these special places for you!

Heads up!! If you've ever considered purchasing TSA pre-check, they're having enrollment events the next two weeks in Rochester! It is $85 for 5 years and it is SO WORTH IT! Look on the RST airport website for details. We bought it for Orlando (MCO) alone... priceless!

Adults only cruise line, you say? Yes, yes I did say that...and I get to experience it myself in November. As soon as I receive my logo with my silver knot, you better believe I'm showing that baby off...there aren't many of us with that level of certification yet!
