I have FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), so consider this my BlackFriday/SmallBuisinessSaturday/CyberMonday/November post.
As another year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on how truly blessed I am to have the privilege of working with each of you. Wow! My head is about to explode! As many of you know I’m an “Old School” Disney fan, but I stayed awake until midnight watching the D23 expo and announcements for what is new and exciting coming to Disney parks around the world.

It’s all very thrilling and yes, of course, Grandma Does Disney will cover and comment on most of it. You gotta love a good story! And every story has to have a protagonist so we’ll get to the villains … not thrilled about them coming to Magic Kingdom, mainly because there is PLENTY to do already in MK. Hollywood Studios could use some new attractions as well as Epcot, but I’m not in charge.

When the band struck up the first chords of Randy Newman’s “If I Didn’t Have You” and Billy Crystal walked on stage to announce a “Monster’s Inc” Land coming to Hollywood Studios, I may have wiped away a tear or two.

Disney would really be nothing without us Disney fans. And I would really have nothing if I didn’t have you. I’ve been privileged to help you, my Disney travelers, navigate the wonderful world of Disney travel. THANK YOU.

I’ll do my best to keep curating magical trips for you, but be forewarned, I won’t wear you out with shiny new objects… I want you to have magical family vacations, not see everything. I want you to stop and embrace the sights, smells, and ambience when wandering down main street.

I want you to enjoy a pizza and a simple sunset by the cozy cone pool. And I want you to cry when you see the wonder in your child’s eyes and watch them drift off to sleep clutching their newest stuffie.

So, let’s go. Let’s go on magical multi generational vacation. Let’s go, just the two of us. Heck, let’s go solo! Let’s go before they’re too old to not have it be magical. Let’s go, even if they’re too little to remember.
