WELCOME TO OUR HOME!
When I first walked in the front door, I cried. Real genuine tears as I knew we truly found our dream home. My husband Randy and I are the owners of this amazing home and we are happy to share it with you.
You may ask, and I understand, why are you renting it? We recently became “empty nesters” and it is a large home for only 2 people. So, we decided other families or groups of work colleagues should have the opportunity to make wonderful memories in this home too!
Built in 2011, there is so much attention to detail to this 10-acre country estate! With 6 bedrooms, 3 ½ bathrooms and 4775 square feet of space, we are the perfect destination for your group getaway, business retreat, wedding or family reunion!
This beautiful spacious three level home is nearly 5,000 SF with a walkout basement that leads to the large in-ground pool and cozy patio with hammocks, impeccably placed pergolas and an abundance of covered seating areas. The sunsets are awe inspiring when enjoying the view during a summer evening swim.
Cedar Ridge’s lower level has a home theater with surround sound and large movie screen seating 8-10 people comfortably on the spacious over-sized furniture. There are over 100 movies to choose from for the group and a plethora of Disney movies perfect for the whole family! Who said popcorn? You even have your own old-time popcorn maker with all the supplies! This level has a draft beer system, a pool/ping pong table and a fully functioning MUSIC ROOM equipped with everything musicians (or wannabe’s) need for an impromptu jam session. After all it is MUSIC CITY (Drum set, bass with amp, guitars with amps, PA and microphones).
Cedar Ridge’s main level great room is a natural gathering place, with a custom stone fireplace, and it is a design feature like no other. With virtually floor to ceiling windows (20 feet high), the views are remarkable! Large fans hang above keeping this room quite cozy even on a hot summer day in the South. The whole house is full of custom cabinetry with lovely caramel and cappuccino flecked granite throughout. The kitchen is spacious and multiple people can cook simultaneously. Fully stocked with multiple appliances, a gas stove with built in pot filler and a double oven, this is a chef’s dream. The pantry and refrigerator(s) can be stocked with groceries upon request and if you don’t want to think about cooking yourself, catering or chef on demand services can be arranged.
Off the kitchen is one of Cedar Ridge’s greatest features, the cedar wood screened in porch. The views are breathtaking! This space has a round granite dining table for 6 and welcoming soft seating that beckons an early morning conversation with tea or coffee or a late afternoon card game. Furnished on this level is a custom built in bar (can be stocked with your favorites upon request) and a wine cooler refrigerator so your favorite glass of vino can be served at the right time and perfectly chilled. There is a sitting room (can also be used as another bedroom) to share conversation or watch the gorgeous sunrises in the morning.
The master bedroom on this level is spacious and full of windows. Off the deck is the best view of the pool as well as the spectacular views. There is a full bathroom with an Italian tiled shower big enough for the whole family! The laundry room is right off the kitchen and next to the half bath to make convenience for all, evident and easy.
The upstairs has three beautiful bedrooms with large closets, TV’s and large windows to take in the beautiful views of the property. Cedar Ridge is a short UBER ride to town! We are 25 minutes from Nashville and 30 minutes from the Nashville airport. (Transportation services can be arranged upon request.)
The outside of Cedar Ridge holds many sunny surprises. We have a tree house in the woods and a fire pit where the whole gang can enjoy watching the spectacular views of the sunsets while making delicious smores by the fire. There is a garden full of vegetables (seasonal) and flowers with everything you need to pick fresh produce in the small shed attached.
Next to the garden is a small chicken coop with 6 chickens. Nothing beats gathering fresh eggs in the morning! Along with the huge soccer field at Cedar Ridge there are many other hidden treasures to explore on our 10+ acres of land. Search out the various spots on the grounds to sit in a glider and enjoy the sounds of birds singing and many other gifts of nature waiting to be discovered at Cedar Ridge.
