COVID UPDATES FOR MEXICO TRAVEL

Health Alert – U.S. Embassy Mexico City, Mexico (January 22, 2021)

Location: Mexico

Event: Mexico COVID-19 Update

Effective since January 26, all airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older must provide a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within three calendar days of travel. Alternatively, travelers to the United States may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider documenting recovery from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel. Check the CDC website for additional information and Frequently Asked Questions. This requirement does not currently apply to travelers entering the United States by land or sea or to children under two years of age. It applies to U.S. citizens, as well as foreign nationals, regardless of vaccination status.

Important Notice From Norwegian Cruise Lines


Dear Valued Travel Partner,

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities around the globe, we have made the decision to further suspend all voyages through and including May 31, 2021.

In line with the most recent suspension-related refund, compensation, and commission processes, please find the below as it relates to these suspensions:

REFUND INFORMATION:

All guests with current and active bookings affected by this suspension will receive a 100% refund of the fare paid, back to the original form of payment. No further action is needed by you or your client. Monetary refunds will be processed automatically by NCL within 30 days. Please then allow 7-10 business days from our processing date for funds to become visible back to the original form of payment. For those reservations paid via a previously issued FCC, 100% of the FCC used will be re-applied to the guests’ Latitudes account within 7 days. No further action is needed by you or your client.

ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION:

Guests with current and active bookings affected by this suspension may receive a 10% OFF discount on their next NCL cruise, valid for all published sailings through and including December 31, 2022. If applicable, this 10% OFF discount will be applied to guest’s Latitudes profiles by no later than February 17, 2021 and must be used within one year of issue date.

COMMISSION:

Commissions will continue to be paid per our standard policy, at the time of final payment and within the final payment window. Commissions where an FCC is applied will be paid on sailed reservations.

Dear traveler,
Are you considering an international trip? If so, read on. The CDC has issued a COVID-19 order that may impact your plans for re-entering the United States.
Effective January 26, 2021 travelers arriving in the U.S. must:
1) Get tested for COVID-19 no more than 3 days before departing to the United States and show a negative test result to the airline before boarding OR 2) show documentation of recent recovery from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding.
This new order applies to all air passengers — including U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents — aged 2 years and older. It also applies regardless of the length of time spent outside of the United States.
Acceptable documentation of recovery from COVID-19 includes both a positive viral test result within 3 months of travel (or the time period specified in current CDC guidance) AND a letter from a healthcare provider or public health official stating that the passenger is cleared to end isolation.
Passengers who have tested positive for COVID-19 will need to delay their travel until they meet the criteria to end isolation; learn more here.
