Tell this company to allow people to donate to a good cause each month, No. 1 is schools and families. Update their check out policy to give people that option and be transparent. They don't get the concept... weird but true. Spread the word... those who have more and want to give to a cause should be able to do it at check out from the store.

They always do amazing work... I've asked before if our local Econo Market can do something like they do in the states and allow people to donate to a cause and donate but Econo Corporate said no... still waiting for word back from Rincon Econo... it is simple, you can donate when checking out.. How their computer system is that ridiculous makes no sense. No.1 in my opinion would be local schools, add after that one and not before.. Why Is this complicated? I was checking out of a grocery store today and they asked if I wanted to donate to a local family for Thanksgiving?!!! Duh, what the heck is up in PR that you can't do that at a check out stand if you are able to do it?

I know a lot of people visiting Rincon do not know this but there is an amazing Magazine called El Coqui of Rincon you should check out. The owner is amazing and creates stories in each publication that are compelling to read.

If in Rincon, there is a day trip we also love, and it includes waterfalls. You need to have some good water shoes as the steps up and down can get a little scary but we've always been okay, people helping people and it's actually better than back in the day. There are two falls, they are both great and keep in mind you will need to walk so if with older people, make sure to keep them in mind, the 1st one is the best one and they will love it. Pack out what you pack in, let's keep the falls clean. The don't allow ice chests (of stopped) so just a few towels, good traction sneakers and if you take a snorkel/mask, check out the cave 1/2 way under water but it is small so respect it and yourself. I did it a few years ago but I'm not always excited to go underwater and up into a pocket of air to check things out so there is that... location for that adventure is Cascada Gozalandia, again a great day trip.

If in Rincon, I've always loved the sunset cruise close to our homes. The have snacks and drinks and really care about who is showing up. If you have a large group you can even rent the entire boat, I 100% recommend them, don't wait for the last minute, they book out many days in advance. I know the do a snorkeling trip near Steps Beach also but we do that one on our own by walking there. Either way, great thing to experience and check out.

We are completely in love with Rincón, its people, the ocean, and the island’s natural beauty, so we decided to make it our home and share it with everyone.
