La Sirena ("The Mermaid") is an oceanfront complex of ten condominiums in three buildings situated around a large pool deck landscaped with lush local flowering plants and trees. The complex sits some fifty feet from the water's edge with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. The interior features two bedrooms, each with queen beds, and 2 baths, a Mexican tiled kitchen with full sized appliances a
nd marble floors. Furniture is handmade and wooden in the traditional Mexican style. The balcony extends across the entire front of the building, with views overlooking the ocean and the pool terrace. Walk south on the beach into town to sample the many great local restaurants and local culture, including a beach bar halfway between La Sirena and town. (Residences north of the village square have an unobstructed walk straight up the beach into town.) La Sirena is the best of both worlds: an easy walk to amenities in town and also the privacy and quiet of an upscale beachfront area. For a restful vacation, everything you need is available on location or within a short walk. For those who wish to venture further, snorkeling and fishing trips can be easily arranged at the town square, shopping is 20 minutes to the north in Cancun and to the south in Playa del Carmen, and adventure parks and tourist destinations (the ruins in Tulum, the sea turtles in Akumal) line the coast and are an easy bus ride or drive away.
