Our prime rib is a 3 day process finishing with a very slow roast and a long hold in our warming cabinet. We are super excited to feature these amazing locally grown mushrooms! Students at RV PREP (RVs alternative program) and in the RV Environmental Club grow gourmet mushrooms in partnership with Philly based mushroom farmers (Mycopolitan). They pickup the “spent” mushroom blocks from the grower and manage to get additional flushes of mushrooms out of them before composting those blocks as part of this zero-waste system. All proceeds from the sale of these mushrooms go back to fund sustainable garden projects at the RV Annex space in Eastampton. Varieties include lions mane, blue oyster, black Pearl oyster and chestnut mushrooms. We have 4 dishes on special highlighting these fantastic fungi. Come support RV!!!
