We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived today that an additional complimentary walking tour of Basel, Switzerland was being offered. This was perfect as we needed something to keep us going as we were exhausted but wanted to keep pushing through the day to get adjusted to the time change. We spent time walking around the old town which had some buildings dating as far back as the early 1200’s. We enjoyed hearing the history and taking in all of the beautiful architecture. Stay tuned to find out where we will wake up tomorrow!

Our home for the next 7 nights on the Viking Sigyn. We opted for a lower level room that does not have a balcony but does have two windows that are just above the water level. These are referred to as swan view rooms as you can sometimes see swans swimming by. It has ample storage and nice light and fresh decor. And the best part…we unpack once and wake up in a new city each day! It doesn’t get easier than this!!!

We are on our way! I am beyond excited for this trip!! We are traveling to Basel, Switzerland where we will be embarking on an 8-day Rhine River cruise with Viking. We will visit 4 different countries during this trip from Switzerland to the Netherlands. I hope you will follow along with me.

My clients just booked a return trip to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. And I don’t blame them. What’s not to love about this resort? Just one stop away from the Magic Kingdom on the monorail, room options with fireworks views, fabulous dining options, and two pools. This resort is perfect for young families who want convenience and proximity to Magic Kingdom.

🖤 Meet the Monsters – There’s always someone…or something…looming in the shadows of Dark Universe – including Monsters who are eager to meet and greet everyone from kids to adults, including Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s Monster and the alluring Bride of Frankenstein. My top 5 tips for staying cool in Walt Disney World this summer:

1. Head to the parks early and take a break midday when it’s hottest to enjoy your resort pool.
2. Stay hydrated. Cups of water are free at all locations that serve fountain soda.
3. Make a plan to enjoy attractions that are air conditioned. A few of my favorites are Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Carousel of Progress in Magic Kingdom, Frozen Ever After Sing Along show in Hollywood Studios, and Festival of the Lion King show in Animal Kingdom.
4. Make a sit-down dining reservation midday to recharge and enjoy some air conditioning.
5. Wear moisture-wicking clothes and consider bringing a small personal fan or cooling towel.

Ever wonder what it’s like to experience a VIP tour at Walt Disney World? I did this last year with a group of friends and now I don’t want to do the parks without one anymore!

Here's all that we accomplished in our 7 hour tour:
* 4 theme parks
* Private transportation between each park with private entrances into the parks (and in a few cases transportation between attractions when the attractions were on opposite sides of the park)
* 10 main attractions
* Lunch (cost not included)
* Snacks offered each time we changed to a different park
* Bottled water

Ok, I’m hooked on river cruising! This has been the most incredible week. I will be totally honest, if you asked me about going on a river cruise even just a few months ago (prior to my training) I probably would have said no. I pictured river cruises as something that would be boring and just for older adults. This cruise was the complete opposite of boring. Our days were jam-packed with fun. It was relaxed and comfortable but also adventurous at the same time. There was a mix of ages on our sailing, guests probably in their 30’s up to 70’s and we became friends with several of the guests onboard. What I loved most though was how easy everything was. River cruising is one of the easiest ways to travel to Europe and be immersed from beginning to end. I loved it! You unpack once and wake up in a new city every day. It is a fabulous way to travel.
