Our passion for traveling to Ireland and love of helping others create the "perfect vacation" got us started. As we continued to help people plan and book their dream trip to the Old Sod, the responsibility implied by handling people's money and planning their vacation made it obvious that we needed to run this like a business. We don't create packages and try to sell them to our clients (most of
whom are or become friends). We create customers and help them to find the places, the activities, the sights, the pubs, the experiences, the restaurants and the accommodation that will make the PERFECT TRIP! For us, anything less would be a disappointment.
The Old Course at St. Andrew’s in Scotland is one of the most iconic and historic golf courses in the world. Because of its fame, it’s quite difficult to get a tee time on the course. Day 6 and Julie and Tanya’s last day exploring. The morning brought glorious weather as they visited more of Cornwall. They headed to St Michael’s Mount and the most amazing theatre you will ever experience, The Minack Theatre. Then on to St Ives where art galleries, shopping and cream teas were abundant. They ended their day in Exeter for their onward journeys. Old Sod can’t wait to design your next trip in this amazing area of England!
Day 5 brought Julie and Tanya to Devon and North Cornwall. First up was Dartmoor and the Postbridge area- great for hiking,biking and fishing with wild horses and sheep roaming the roads. We took a lovely stroll across clapper bridge. We continued on through English Countrystride to Saint Marks Church in Widecombe for a little wander and then onto beautiful Port Isaac where Doc Martin was filmed. A quick pit stop at our secret place in Harlyn Bay.
Our adventure continues tomorrow.

The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, the award winning wine was superb and the Michelin starred restaurant by Chef Michael Caines was fantastic. Yesterday brought Julie and Tanya from London to the New Forest area. Blue skies and sunshine welcomed them. On their journey they visited in Brockenhurst and their lovely walled garden. Thanks to Sarah for the hospitality. We enjoyed touring this unique property. After spending time touring the New Forest, they ended at Chewton Glen and will share more about their visit there!
