“As promised and more! House had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, wood provided for the woodstove, and so many other thoughtful touches, from well-placed night lights to a thorough house manual. We enjoyed the ping pong table too! House easily accommodated 5 of us (three generations) and was convenient to downtown McCloud and the snow park for a day of snowboarding. Can’t wait to return for another visit to this beautiful area.”

“It is certainly one of the most well stocked and comfortable houses we have ever stayed at. The location is great especially if you are outdoors enthusiast. It is close to a myriad of trails and nature wonders. Mount Shasta ski park is only 20 mins away and it is a lot less busy than any Tahoe resort. Kids loved it too as well, since there are many games in the game room along with a pool/tennis table. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone. You will not be bored there.”

Ibuki House

This was very first home under the management of McCloud Vacation Rentals back in December 2018! 🏡

This charming Mill home offers 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and sleeps up to 7 guests. With a newly fenced back yard, this home is super dog friendly! Perfect for families and small groups, Ibuki House has became very popular and we have a lot of return guests each year! Heated with a new wood stove and a new electric heat pump mini split (which also offers Air Conditioning!), this home stays warm and cozy in the winter and cool and comfortable in the summer. This house also offers an automatic whole house generator which makes it perfectly set up for when the power goes out!

“We have stayed at the Ibuki house before and love it. You can walk to the quaint town and experience all the charm of McCloud. The house is cozy and clean. Great for our dog too with the fenced in location. We look forward to returning.”

“We enjoyed our three nights in McCloud at Linn's place. The location is great for easy driving to Snowman's Hill for sledding, and walking to the center of town blocks away. The dog-friendly home was a draw for us, and didn't disappoint with a cushy doggo blanket, towels and dishes. There are house slippers at both doors, which was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with real utensils, plenty of nice dishes, an assortment of cook and bakeware, and a healthy selection of oils and spices and the like. The portable space heaters did the trick in the bedrooms and the wood burning stove in the living room produces a lot of heat! My boys especially loved the comfy reclining chairs. We'd definitely return!”

“Quincy House was perfect for our family. The upstairs room was great for the kids to hang out in and there was more than enough room for all four of them to sleep in that room. The house was clean, updated, comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood, and a relaxing hammock! Everything was exactly as Linn had described it. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, the dining area was great for eating and playing games. The bedrooms were welcoming and clean. The porch is fantastic! McCloud is a great place to be, it is close to hiking, lakes, waterfalls, and lava caves (which we thoroughly enjoyed) and when we saw and did all that we wanted, we got to enjoy this beautiful house, with gorgeous scenery, in a beautiful place that is rich in history!”

“What a wonderful place to stay. It had everything and more! It is so clean, light and bright. You’re right around the corner from town, great location. The deck upstairs is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and relax. The kids had such a wonderful time in the kids/entertainment room.
