Day 6 was full of excitement and not much injury drama. Most of the folks that are going to break because they weren’t ready for this week are already broken. The warriors are the only ones left standing, and they are bringing some game.
One more day and we expect it to be another good one! Who’s ready for SE Alaska basketball?!
Angela’s moved smoothly into her role as our team social media expert and has created the first of what I hope will be many videos of this adventure! Enjoy!!
I've added a drone to my toybox and am trying to get good at flying it (and landing back on a boat). The footage is a little rough, and I don't sit at the computer enough to get any good at editing. Maybe that will be a winter project? 😆
That moment when you hope the guy driving the hoist is REALLY good. Now the work begins.
Diving in the cenotes of Mexico... It's an 'other-worldly' experience...
Angela put together a great video of our recent trip to snorkel at St Lazaria, a beautiful little island folks call “Jurassic Park” because of its striking topography and wildlife. Enjoy!
Twenty years ago I came to the Big Island of Hawaii for the first time and had the opportunity to dive with Jack’s Diving Locker with the Pacific Manta Rays for the first time. I have sent many people there to get this amazing experience over the years, and have returned myself at least three times... Angela and I had a repeat of the first time this week with an unbelievable experience with a great crew and some beautiful and tolerant animals. This is the kind of stuff that keeps me coming back time and again...
Yesterday we went north to Puako for the “House 38-40” dive. It was a beach entry and a bit of a surface swim, but the structure and wildlife was amazing. We found our first “turtle cleaning station” where the honu come and get a little spa day from the local fish. You can hear the humpbacks singing in the background. Pretty magical!!
