Janelle and I were in Orlando for the Missy, Busta, Ciara concert. We stayed at the Aloft Downtown for its proximity to the Kia Center. We decided to post the room because it's a great spot if you're in town for a concert, comedy show or Magic game. We also found out there's a shuttle from the Kia center to the soccer stadium. Dominican Republic highlights. City tour with Hugo and a beach visit. Highly recommend. Hugo was knowledgeable and accommodating, even stopping at a store so we could get sodas to take back on board. Good times

On this day in 2019 we boarded the largest cruise ship (at that time) in the world. It was our first Royal Caribbean cruise after many Carnival cruises. On this day last year we boarded Carnival’s Mardi Gras for a 6 day cruise. In 61 days we board her again for the 8 day itinerary. The forward balcony we had is featured in this video.
