It’s me, hi….. I can’t remember the last time I posted. Anywho, a few things: 1.) Happy New Year!!! Thank you for all the support this past year- and continued support!!!!! This past year was fun helping so many plan trips. My resolution is to post more without being annoying. 2.) Get ready for annoying for a few days as I’m starting the year off with the D***y Challenge! My daughter and mom are joining me, so we plan to have some fun without going too crazy. 3.) On a sappy note, this will be my first full marathon since my daughter was born. My last was in 2019 for the D***y Challenge; Mackenzie was here ten months later. Send me speedy/ pain-free vibes!!!

GENIE+ UPDATE: "Beginning June 27, Guests at Walt Disney World will now purchase Disney Genie+ service based on how they want to visit. Guests will be able to select either a single-park option or a multiple-parks option, subject to availability. With this update, prices may now be lower at some Walt Disney World theme parks compared to others. Guests will continue to be able to purchase Disney Genie+ service through the My Disney Experience app on the day of their visit."

“I want to take my toddler to Disney, but I also don’t want to ‘waste’ money if they won’t remember it.”

I hear this- in so many words or less- A LOT!

I’ve been taking my daughter to Disney since she was 11 weeks old. Does she remember every trip? Of course not! But her dad and I do! And, she remembers some details from certain trips better than I do! You don’t keep your kids in a box just because they won’t remember it.

When you take your child to Disney is completely up to you, but there is something truly special about taking them when they are young and seeing the magic in their eyes!

**Bonus** kids under 3 get into the parks FREE and are not charged at most restaurants!!!

May has always been my favorite month in Indiana (you can feel spring turning to summer, and the 500 tends to bring pride and excitement to the state), but I have no regrets about spending a chunk of the past month in Disney! Consistent swimming weather without being too hot and low crowds— May may be my favorite month to visit Disney!

The Galactic Starcruiser aka “the Star Wars hotel” is closing permanently this fall!

BREAKING NEWS: Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser will have its final voyage on September 28th-30th. All bookings are currently paused through May 26th. Guests with reservations after September will be contacted with options to modify their plans.

Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island, and many of their Bahamian/Caribbean sailings include at least one stop here. It was what I was looking forward to the most, and did not disappoint!

We primarily spend our day enjoying the crystal clear waters, but we had to test out their water slides at Pelican Plunge!

I tried to explore some of the island during the Castaway 5k (not pictured; it is a do-on-your-own event, but you do get medal!).

The bike rental was worth it! You can ride past several of the cabanas and get to a serene spot away from the crowds via the “Bike & Hike” trail.

Tonight technically marks the end of the 50th anniversary celebration. Honestly, I’m excited for some things to return to “normal”. One thing I will miss is EPCOT’s nighttime show, Harmonious (but not the barges that were a huge eyesore during the day).
