Disney’s Pop Century is a fantastic place to stay during your visit to Walt Disney World! This value resort is perfect for anyone looking for a fun and affordable vacation. The resort features themed buildings and rooms that pay homage to the pop culture of the 20th century. Guests can choose to stay in buildings inspired by the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s. Today was a true testament to “you absolutely can’t do it all at Disney. Even if you go a bunch of times, there will always be something new (so don’t stress about what you may miss, and focus on what you get to do!). The point is, I had a few firsts today! First time the drum line has come to a line and performed directly in front of me, first time drinking a smoking, bubbling drink from Oga’s, first time eating at Woody’s Roundup, and first time seeing the new Fantasmic! show. Spoiler: I recommend it all.

Need to double check open & closing times of parks or how long transportation will run? Find signs posted near entrances & take a picture in case you forget! Extra tip of the day: pack an additional pair of comfortable shoes so you don’t end up with blisters & new Disney crocs 😬😂

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party - my favorite night at Disney World. This limited ticket event runs certain nights through the fall at Disney World. There are shows, parades, and an unbelievable fireworks show. The crowds are limited so wait times for rides are practically non existent. I was able to ride Tron (twice!), Space Mountain (special theming for Halloween 🎃), Peter Pan’s flight, Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh, Pirates of the Caribbean (another special theming ride!), Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain, & Mickey’s Philharmonic… plus went through the trick or treat line on repeat, saw the best parade ever, ate some delicious snacks, and had an awesome spot for the fireworks. If you have the chance to go to an after hours event at Disney World, take it ❤️🎃🐭

This is my kind of business trip. Yes, I absolutely love Disney World. Yes, I’m having a ball. But also, yes, I’m polishing up my knowledge of the resorts & parks, so I can be the best resource for my clients.

Pro tip: stay on property & get into parks earlier than the general public. Rope dropping + Genie+ = hitting all the big stuff! Before 1 pm, I rode Remy’s, Frozen, Cosmic Rewind (x2!), and Soarin’.

Port Orleans - Riverside has the princess rooms, but Port Orleans - French Quarter has the beignets. It’s a tough decision. Both two of my favorite Moderate resorts at Disney World!
